Wedding Crafts - buttonholes

Another corsage, and the heather buttonholes I made for the men.

Wedding Crafts - corsages

I made everyone their own corsages for the wedding - it probably would have been cheaper just to make everyone a gold/ivory rose corsage to match my theme but I wanted everyone to have ones to match their outfits. A lot of the family have put them away safely in case they wear the same outfit to another wedding!

I watched a tutorial on youtube and took it from there. By then Hobbycraft had opened nearby and I spent loads of time looking for the right flowers and accessories.

Wedding Crafts - table decorations

These were the table decorations I made for the wedding. Glass bowls, foam roses, butterflies and ribbon all from ebay.

It was all trial and error, but they all came together nicely. I wanted to have plenty for all the women to take home after the wedding. As it was everyone was staking their claims to them as soon as they all sat down, haha.

The larger decs were reserved for the mums, and I have one still as a dining table centrepiece.

Wedding crafts - Flower girls

I got married in May this year and done a LOT of the work myself. I really enjoyed it, and it was the first time I had turned my hand to things other than cross stitch.

These items were for my flower girls, and I bought everything to make them on ebay!! Our local Hobbycraft hadn't opened when I started making these, so ebay was a godsend.

The teddies were easy, just made little skirts, tied with gold ribbon and hot glued the flowers in place.

The wands are plastic star ones I bought for 99p then used the same foam roses that I had in my bridal bouquet to decorate. My theme was gold/ivory and the occasional butterfly.
