Forever Friends Cards

There's something quite relaxing about putting decoupage pictures together while watching tv :)

Jolly Nation card

This one is for my niece's birthday in a few days. She will be 10 and I wanted something which was still girly but not too babyish.

The die cut sheet was 29p from imag-e-nation - got a few other designs as well, at that price they are handy to have :)

'Dandelion' Cards

I do like my découpage!!

Flippin' Cards

Ordered loads of stuff from the 'Flippin' range last week and decided to start with a couple of the sedate 'Framin' cards

Pretty simple. I did find though that the cards were a little larger than the frame so had to trim them a bit. Quite expensive for the aperturne cards as well - I got those ones reduced to £1.50 for two (no way I would pay the RRP) but will be making my own from now on I reckon.

Pyramage cards - Men

I actually added these on the female pyramage page but for some reason only one picture is uploading for each post :s

Anyway - Men's cards are ones which I never seem to do all that often, there are so many more designs for women. Alays handy to put few together and store away.

Pyramage Cards

I like these - 25p a sheet from imag-e-nation and each sheet makes two cards. Very simple yet effective and handy to have in 'stock' for random birthdays :)

Cross stitch cards

Just stitched loads of small designs over a week or so and these are some of the cards I put together from them.

Very much just a case of seeing what fitted which aperture, although I do really like the blue birthday card, dunno who would appreciate it bein sent to them though.

Cards

I love this card! It's an aperture one so when it's opened up the little zebra is on the inside. Simple black and white theme - the zebra was pack of a pack of animal stickers with springy heads that were in the madaboutcards sale (25p a pack) none of the other animals worked as well as the zebra.

My first attemt at a shaker card
I saw these in papercraft inspirations last year and really liked them. I have only made the one - they take ages!! There's a sweetie jar version as well which I plan to make for my sisters birthday.

Simple yet effective. Another aperture card (I will be buying more of those)

Golf Cards

Twisted Pyramage design, one is for my BIL's birthday in July (the only golfer I know!) the otheris for my card stash.

Flower topper cards

I was only intending to build up these decoupáge toppers then stick them in a box but I ended up carrying on and making the cards with them....

These two look a mustardy colour but they are actually a nice bright green lol

It only cost £1 for the sheet of 6 toppers from madaboutcards. :D

Baby Boy Card

Started with some baby boy cards - I really just wanted to use some of those felt nappies :) They weren't easy to stick, my usual tacky glue just sank in so out came the superglue lol.

Stickers are dome stickers I got for 50p a sheet in the madaboutcards sale )

*Note to self* don't take any more pictures agains the black leather sofa as background, the pics are too dark.

Thank you cards

Saw the top design on the madaboutcards website and really liked it, so decided to make other versions using the envelope design. The small purple cards have felt ribbon at the edge which is lovely to use (as well as easy) and gives a nice effect

Good Luck Card

It's always so easy to make cards for women isn't it?? I thought I would try a more blokey colour scheme and came up with these very simple good luck cards

Forever Friends Decoupáge

Well, after abandoning my cards for a few months I decided to take and easy foray back into them. Got some FFriends decoupáge and card blanks half price in an easter sale. Nice easy way to get back into the swing of things :)

Birthday Card - Viv

What better than the 'Forever Friends' bear for someone who has been a fantastic friend over the years. (Viv, if you read this...(((hugs)))! )

I recently bought a load of beads, so thought that they would be ideal to personalise the card...they made a lovely necklace :D

Christmas Card - wooden figures

Another Christmas card attempt

As you can see, I got to get my stampers out again :D I quite like that Holly edging stamp.

The little wooden 3D figures were from a set I bought online - it cost £15(!) but there are LOADS of little figures, and sparkly bits in it. Enough to make up plenty cards.

Men's Cars - pyramage

I love the twisted pyramage design of these cards. Simple and effective. You can't see too well in the photos, but the main design is from 4 squares, each one twisted round slightly on top of the one below using foam pads.

Also easy to put together, each die cut A4 sheet has enough to make two cards. (£1 per sheet)

They come in loads of designs - Golf, football, cars, bikes, guitars etc

Christmas Cards

I love these decoupagé sets, they are so cute!

I also got to use my stamps again to decorate, and have stamped inside with 'Merry Christmas' and a little tiny Robin in the corner holding a parcel.

They were so easy to do. I think it cost £2 for the die cut sheets, which gave me 6 cards to make up

Cards - For Men

Isn't it so much easier and more fun making female style cards?? :D

Anyway, I thought I had better make some male ones before I attempt to sell some in a fortnight....

So, I turned to my favourite madaboutcards site, to the section rather amusingly named 'Men's Bits!' (cue schoolgirl snigger, hehe)and found lots of decoupagé sets. The sheet with 3 cars was only 80p

I quite liked the black and white 'classic' look, so I went with it for the rest of the card. I don't like the thicker black strips on the bottom pic, but that was my first attempt and I couldn't peel it back off.

Christmas Cards

Santa with wreath card - I reused a handmade card that I was sent last christmas. That led me to an interest in stamping, hence the second Santa face card. Again, I tried out stamping with the birds on the branch - the stamps were free with a papercraft magazine (which was handy!)

The angel card was made from a pack of die cut angels and faces (10 for £1.00 at madaboutcards.com) and the snowflake one is little sparkly gems on a metallic blue card, surrounded by hole-punched snowflakes.
